Ingredients
- 500 g tenderloin pork (about 5 pcs / 1.5 cm thickness)
- 400 g Russet potato (fig1)
- 40 g onion about 1 pcs, cut into pieces
- 60 g tomato about 2 pcs, cut into pieces
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 2 pcs shallot (cut into pieces)
Seasoning for the pork
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp sugar
- ¼ tsp ground black pepper
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- 2 tsp water
- 2 tsp oil
Mashed potato seasoning
- 2 tbsp butter (fig2)
- 100 ml milk
- ½ tsp sea salt
- ½ tsp chicken powder
Tomato sauce mixture
- ⅔ can condensed tomato soup (fig3/about 200ml)
- 1 tsp dark soy sauce
- 1 tsp Maggi seasoning (fig4)
- 1 tsp worcestershire sauce (fig5)
- ½ tsp chicken powder
- 2 tsp sugar
- 3 tbsp ketchup
- 25 g butter (about 2 tbsp)
- 120 ml water
Other ingredients
- 150 g shredded cheese (fig6)
Instructions
- Slice the pork into small pieces. Add in the pork seasoning and marinade it for 15 mins
- Peel and cut the potato into big pieces. Simmer it in boiling water over low heat for 20 mins
- Heat the pan over high heat. Add in 2 tsp of oil. Add in the pork and pan fry until each side for 3-4 mins. Put it aside.
- Heat the pan with high heat. Add in 1 tsp of oil. Add in the onion, shallots, and garlic. Stir fry them until fragrant. Add in tomato and mix it well
- Once the onion is soft, add in the sauce mixture. Turn the heat to medium low. Simmer for 1-2 mins. Add in the pork.
- To mash the potato, drain all the water out of the pot. Add in the potato seasoning. Mash it while it is still hot until it is smooth.
- Put the mashed potato into the container, top with tomato sauce mixture with the pork, then cheese. Put the container into the oven. Bake it with the highest temperature until the cheese is melted and golden.

Tips and notes
1 if you want enrich the texture of the mashed potato, you can increase the butter to 3-4 tbsp, and 150-200ml of milk.
2 Cream will make the mashed potato more smooth and rich. But it is also too heavy to eat. So it is recommend to use full fat milk instead.
3 You can use evaporated milk too. Or half milk half cream.
4 You can replace the milk with water, but the texture won't be smooth
