I have made a very popular char siu recipe in 2015. This time, I made it again but by using air fryer. The taste is still excellent and the cooking time is far less. The outcome is much better than oven version

Ingredients
- 900 g tenderloin pork
- 3 tbsp honey (fig1)
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp Chu Hou sauce (fig2)
- 3 tbsp Char Siu sauce (fig3)
- 1 tbsp light soy sauce (fig4)
- 1 tbsp Chinese rose wine (fig5)
- 2 tsp paprika (fig6)
- 1 tsp garlic powder (fig7)
Sauce mixture
- 3 tbsp maltose sugar (fig8 /or using honey)
Instructions
- Add the seasoning and marinade the pork for at least 30 mins
- Put it into the preheated air fryer. Brush the oil evenly. Air fry at 190°C/375°F for 8 minutes
- urn the pork over, coat it with honey. Air fry at 190°C/375°F for 6 minutes
- Place the Char siu into the dressing and mix it well. Let it rest for 10 minutes. Cut into pieces and serve it hot
