Ingredients
- 260 g quail (about 2 pcs)
- 40 g Astragalus propinin (about 4-5 pcs)
- 80 g Codonopsis (about 2-3 pcs, cut into pieces)
- 6 pcs dried red date (remove the core)
- 8 pcs dried black jujubes (cut opened)
- 60 g dried Huai shan (about 3-4 pcs)
- 20 g dried longan
- 10 g dried goji berry
- 15 g dried Cordyceps flower
- 2.5 L water
Instructions
- Cut the quail in half. Clean it well. Blanch and put it aside. Rinse and clean all the other ingredients. Put them aside.
- Put all the ingredients (except the goji and cordyceps) into double boiler. Add in water. Stew for 2 hour and 30 mins over low heat.
- Add in the goji and cordycep. Turn off the heat. Let them sit for another 15 mins.

Other tips
1 You can stew it without double boiler. But you will need 3L of water
2 You can add other ingredients,dried goji berryandsimmer together
3 Add only goji at the end. Otherwise the soup will taste a bit of sour
