It is a very authentic Chinese family dish. Shrimps sauce may sound crazy if you don't know about it. But it is a super savory sauce that most Chinese will use. Combine it with the pork and tofu puff. It created a super easy savory dish that you have never experience before.

Ingredients
 

  • 500 g tenderloin pork
  • 160 g tofu puff (about 16 pcs / halved)
  • 1 tbsp diced green onions (for garnish)
  • 2 tsp Diced hot pepper (for garnish)

Seasoning for the pork

  • 2 tsp shrimps sauce (fig1)
  • 1 tsp light soy sauce
  • 1 tsp fish sauce (fig2)
  • 1 tsp shacha sauce (fig3)
  • 1 tsp Shaoxing wine
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp oil

Seasoning for tofu puff

  • ¼ tsp sea salt
  • ½ tsp sesame oil

Instructions
 

  • Slice the pork. Add in the seasoning and mix well. Marinade for about 15mins
  • Rinse and clean the tofu puff. Cut it in half. Add the seasoning and mix it well.
  • Put the tofu puff in a heat proofed dish. Top with the pork. Steam it over high heat for 12-15 mins
  • Add the green onion and chili to garnish. Enjoy

Other tips
The saltiness of shrimps sauce may vary if you are using different brand. It is saft to use only 1 tsp for the 1st try. And adjust it accordingly in next attempt.
You can skip the seasoning for the tofu puff if you want it taste less strong.
