This is a very savory dish that you must try. It combine with savory black pepper sauce, honey and lime juice. It taste a sweet and sour with a bit of spicy. With the marination i recommended, the beef is so tender and juicy. I am sure you will love it

Ingredients
 

  • 450 g Sirloin steak (diced)
  • 400 g potatoes (diced)
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp diced red shallots
  • 40 g onion (cut into pieces)
  • 80 g red bell pepper (cut into pieces)
  • 2 tsp lime juice

Seasoning for potato

  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika (Optional)
  • 1 tsp oil

Seasoning

  • 2 tsp light soy sauce
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp yogurt (full fat / sweet)
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 2 tsp oil

Sauce mixture

  • 15 g butter
  • 1 tbsp Japanese soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Mirin
  • 2 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp Maggi seasoning
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1.5 tbsp honey

Starch mixture

  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp water

Instructions
 

  • Marinate the beef with the seasoning for 3 hour. Soak the potato in cold water. Change water half way.
  • Pat dry the potato. Season the potatoes with potato seasoning, Air fry them with 195°C for 18 minutes
  • Pan fry the cubed beef over high heat until medium done, about 1 mins on both side. Dish it up and put it aside
  • Add in garlic, diced shallots, and onions and sautée over medium-high heat until the onion is soft. Add in baked potatoes and cooked steak
  • Add in the sauce mixture. Gradually add in the starch mixture until the sauce is thickened. Dish it up in a cast iron plate. Drizzle the lime juice on top. Server it hot.
