This is a very savory dish that you must try. It combine with savory black pepper sauce, honey and lime juice. It taste a sweet and sour with a bit of spicy. With the marination i recommended, the beef is so tender and juicy. I am sure you will love it

Ingredients
- 450 g Sirloin steak (diced)
- 400 g potatoes (diced)
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp diced red shallots
- 40 g onion (cut into pieces)
- 80 g red bell pepper (cut into pieces)
- 2 tsp lime juice
Seasoning for potato
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika (Optional)
- 1 tsp oil
Seasoning
- 2 tsp light soy sauce
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp yogurt (full fat / sweet)
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- 2 tsp oil
Sauce mixture
- 15 g butter
- 1 tbsp Japanese soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Mirin
- 2 tsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp Maggi seasoning
- 2 tbsp water
- 2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1.5 tbsp honey
Starch mixture
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp water
Instructions
- Marinate the beef with the seasoning for 3 hour. Soak the potato in cold water. Change water half way.
- Pat dry the potato. Season the potatoes with potato seasoning, Air fry them with 195°C for 18 minutes
- Pan fry the cubed beef over high heat until medium done, about 1 mins on both side. Dish it up and put it aside
- Add in garlic, diced shallots, and onions and sautée over medium-high heat until the onion is soft. Add in baked potatoes and cooked steak
- Add in the sauce mixture. Gradually add in the starch mixture until the sauce is thickened. Dish it up in a cast iron plate. Drizzle the lime juice on top. Server it hot.
