Tamagoyaki

Tamagoyaki is a popular dish in Japan. Usually, it requires a special pan with rectangle shape. This time, I am going to challenge it by making it with regular pan with round shape.

Ingredients
 

  • 4 pcs egg (50g each)
  • 80 ml water
  • 5 g Benito powder
  • ½ tsp Mirin
  • 1 tsp evaporated milk
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • ½ tsp sugar

Instructions
 

  • Beat the egg. Then mix the rest of the ingredients
  • Heat the non stick pan with 1 tsp of oil over medium heat. Coat the pan evenly with a paper towel
  • Add enough egg mixture to fill up the pan. Turn the heat to low. Once the egg is firmed, roll it up.
  • Coat the pan with paper towel from step 1. Add enough egg mixture to fill up the pan again. Once it is firm, roll it up again.
  • Repeat until the egg mixture is all used. Dish it up and cut into thick pieces. Enjoy
