Beef and Potato patties

Similar to the Japanese potato patties without any breadcrumb. It is simple and easy to make. I added sweet potato and cheese to enhance the flavor. It is really delicious

Ingredients
 

  • 500 g potatoes (Russet)
  • 50 g sweet potato (Optional)
  • 250 g ground beef
  • 120 g shredded cheese (Mozzarella or Cheddar)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp diced green onions
  • 2 pcs egg
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour

Instructions
 

  • Peel the potato and sweet potato. Steam 20 mins until they are soft
  • Mash the potato, sweet potato and combined the rest of the ingredients. Evenly divide the mixture. Press to form the patties
  • Heat the pan with medium low heat. Add in 1tbsp of oil. Pan fry the patties 3-5 mins on each side until both side is golden
  • Air fryer: Air fry 200°C/400°F for 8-10 mins.
  • Oven: Bake 220°C/420°F,for 12-15min
