Savory Chinese Pancake

Chinese pancake has salty and sweet version. Today, i am going to make the salty one live. It is a modification of my wife recipe. I hope it will work out.

Ingredients
 

  • 100 g all purpose flour
  • 15 g glutinous rice flour
  • 1 pcs egg
  • 180 ml water
  • 10 g dried shrimps (soaked)
  • 2 tbsp diced green onions
  • 2 tsp oil

Seasoning

  • ½ tsp chicken powder
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ¼ tsp ground pepper

Instructions
 

  • Put flour, rice flour, egg and seasoning in a bowl. Add water gradually. Mix well until the mixture is smooth.
  • add in the shrimps, green onion, oil and mix it well
  • Heat the pan with medium heat with 2 tsp of oil. Add in the mixture. Flatten the mixture to form a thin pancake
  • Pan fry until one side is golden. Flip it over. Add 2 tsp of oil along the edge of the pan. Pan fry until the other side is golden. Serve it hot.
