Ingredients
 

  • 2 pcs puff pastry (30cm x 25cm/fig1)
  • 1 tbsp melted butter (fig2)
  • 1 pcs egg yolk
  • 5 tbsp Hazelnut chocolate spread (or any fruit jam, bean paste /fig3)
  • 1 tbsp syrup (any kind of syrup is fine /fig4)

Decoration recommendation (choose 1 or 2)

  • 15 pcs multi color chocolate bean
  • 1 tsp icing sugar (fig5)
  • 1 tsp shredded coconut
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder

Instructions
 

  • Fill 1 puff pastry sheet with chocolate hazelnut paste. Cover it with another puff pastry sheet.
  • Cut the puff pastry into a Christmas tree shape. Slide both sides to create the branches.
  • Twist each pastry branches. Freeze for 15 minutes
  • Preheat the oven at 200°C/392°F. Coat the frozen pastry with egg yolk
  • Bake it in the oven at 200°C/392°F for 20 minutes, and serve (After baking for 10 mins, cover it with aluminum foil)
