Beef with Egg on Rice

A simple but delicious beef recipe. All you need to do is mix the ingredient together and put it into the rice cooker. That's it. Simple, right?!

Ingredients
 

  • 450 g ground beef
  • 30 g Tianjin preserved cabbage (cleaned [fig1])
  • 50 g assorted vege/ fig2
  • 1 pcs egg
  • 2 cup Long grain rice (about 380g / fig3)
  • 2 cup water (about 420 ml)

Beef seasoning

  • 30 g Oatmeal / fig4
  • 30 g breadcrumbs / fig5
  • 1.5 tbsp oyster sauce /fig6
  • 1 tsp garlic powder / fig7
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 180 ml water (add it accordingly)

Instructions
 

  • Mix the beef with the seasoning. Add in the preserved cabbage and assorted vege. Mix it well.
  • Put the beef in rice cooker steam rack. Put the rice and water into the rice cooker
  • put the rice cooker steam rack inside the rice cooker. Close the lid and press the button to cook the rice
  • Put the cooked beef on top of the rice. Top it with an raw egg. Serve it hot

Tips and notes
If you don't have the rice cooker steamer, you can add the beef on top of the rice kernel. But wait until the rice is cooked half way through.
