Ingredients
- 4 pcs chicken quarter legs (about 300-350g each)
- 50 g all purpose flour (fig1)
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 2 tbsp oil
Seasoning
- 2 tsp sea salt
- 2 tsp chicken powder
- 1 tsp Chinese 5 spices powder (fig2)
- 2 tsp sugar
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp galangal powder (fig4)
Spice salt
- 4 tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp Chinese 5 spices powder
Instructions
- Cut along the legs bone for each chicken legs. Marinade the bottom with the seasoning
- Marinade the skin side with sea salt. Put it in the fridge and chill for at least 2 hours
- Dried the chicken legs. Coat evenly each side with flour. Put it on the baking tray covered by parchment paper. Brush evenly the skin with oil.
- Preheat the oven 220°C/425°F. Place the chicken legs in oven. Roast it for 25-30 mins
Air fryer cooking time and temperature:
- air fry for 190°C/375°F for 22-25 mins
Spice salt
- Heat the salt in the pan without any oil over medium heat for 3 mins. Add in the spice and mix it well.
