Fish sauce and honey are perfect ingredient to go with any meat. This time, I am using this combination for beef and fried potato. It is simple but absolutely delicious

Ingredients
- 350 g Sirloin steak (diced)
- 400 g potatoes (diced)
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp diced red shallots
- 40 g onion (diced)
Seasoning for potato
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp oil
Seasoning
- 1.5 tbsp minced lemongrass (Optional)
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp garlic powder (fig1)
- 2 tsp fish sauce (fig2)
- 1 tbsp Sweet soy sauce (fig3)
- 1 tsp cornstarch (fig4)
Sauce mixture
- 15 g butter (fig5)
- 1 tbsp Cognac (Optional)
- 1.5 tbsp honey (fig6)
- 1 tsp fish sauce (fig2)
Instructions
- Marinade the steak with beef seasoning for 30 minutes
- Season the potatoes with potato seasoning, Air fry them with 195°C for 18 minutes [Or bake it in oven with 200°C for 25 minutes]
- Fry the steak over medium-high heat for 1 minute on each side until medium done. Set it aside
- Add in garlic, diced shallots, and onions and sautée over medium-high heat until the onion is soft. Add in baked potatoes and cooked steak
- Add the sauce mixture and mix it well. Put on the preheated iron plate. Serve it hot
