Ingredients
- 450 g ground chicken
- 200 g firm tofu
- 3 tbsp diced coriander
- 40 g onion (peeled and diced)
- 1 pcs egg
- 50 g breadcrumbs
Seasoning
- 0.5 tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 0.5 tsp chicken powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 0.5 tsp ground black pepper
- 2 tbsp all purpose flour (or cornstarch)
Teriyaki sauce
- 30 ml Japanese soy sauce
- 30 ml Mirin
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 160 ml water
Starch mixture
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp water
Instructions
- Combine the chicken and seasoning until the meat is sticky. Add in the rest of ingredients and mix it well.
- Divide the mixture into 16 meatballs. Air fry 190°C/375°F for 8 mins. Flip it, air fry again 195°C/380°F for 8 mins
- Add in the sauce mixture into the pan. Bring it to boil over medium heat. Add in the starch mixture to thicken the sauce. Pour the sauce over the meatballs. Enjoy
Notes
1 Frying pan method: You can use medium heat, pan fry for 4 minutes on each side. Make sure the oil is enough to cover half of the ingredients
2 For oven bake: Baked at 220°C/425°F for 30-40 minutes. Flip once.
