Ingredients
- 950 g bone in pork chop
- 4 tbsp cornstarch
- 50 ml hot water
Seasoning
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp fish sauce (fig1)
- 2 tsp Maggi seasoning (fig2)
- 2 tsp dark soy sauce (fig3)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp oil
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 pcs egg
Optional seasoning
- 1 tsp chicken powder (fig4)
- 2 tbsp yogurt (contain sugar /fig5)
Special Thai spicy sauce mixture
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp fish sauce (fig1)
- 3 tbsp hot water
- 1 tsp chili garlic sauce (fig6)
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 2 tbsp diced coriander
- 3 tbsp Thai basil
Spring onion oil seasoning
- 80 g diced green onions
- ½ tsp sea salt
- ½ tsp chicken powder (fig4)
- 3 tbsp oil
Instructions
- Tenderize pork chops on both sides. Marinade them with seasoning for at least 30 mins (1 hour is recommended)
- Coat the pork chop both sides with cornstarch. Heat the pan with medium high heat. Add in 2 tsp oil. Pan-fry the pork chop 2-3 mins each side until medium done. Put it aside
- Let the pork chops rest for 5 mins. Serve it with the special Thai sauce or spring onion oil.
Special Thai spicy sauce steps
- Mixed all the ingredients. Do a taste test and adjust the taste accordingly
Spring onion oil steps
- Heat the pan with medium heat heat. Add in the oil and heat it up. Add in the green onion and stir fry for 10 seconds
- Put the mixture into a bowl. Add in the seasoning and mix well.
