Instructions
Combine the starch mixture. Mix it well until it is smooth. Drain over a sieve and put it aside.
Boil the syrup mixture in a pot over high heat until the sugar is dissolved. Add in 1/5 of starch mixture to thicken the syrup
Pour the syrup mixture into the starch mixture. Mix it well until it is smooth. Add in the water chestnut slices.
Brush the oil around the aluminum tray. Add in the mixture. Cover and steam over high heat for 30 mins
