Cut the end of the chicken drumstick along the bone. Push the meat and skin up to form a lollipop. Marinade it for at least 1 hours
Coat the drumsticks with sweet potato starch evenly. Brush evenly with oil. Put it into the baking tray covered with parchment paper.
Air fry it with 180°C/350°F for 18-20 mins
or oven grill it at 200°C/400°F for 30-35 mins
Add in the Teriyaki sauce mixture into the pan. Bring it to boil over medium heat. Add in the starch mixture to thicken the sauce. Put it aside
In a dry pan. Stir fry the Szechuan pepper salt mixture until the salt turn light brown. Dish it up and cool it down. Blend it finely with a food processor. Set it aside.
Drizzle half drumsticks with Szechuan pepper salt and the rest with Teriyaki sauce. Enjoy
