Butterfly the chicken. Rinse and clean well. Pat dry the chicken.
Seasoning the entire chicken with the seasoning. Add in the onion, shallot and garlic. Marinade it for at least 1 hour
Add 2 tsp of oil in a pan. Heat it over medium high heat. Add in the chicken (skin side down). Pan dry until the skin is golden and crispy. Remove the chicken. Add in the onion, shallot and garlic. Stir fry until the aromatic is fragrant.
Wrap the chicken and all the cooked aromatics with parchments paper. Seal the paper
Roast it in air fryer with 190°C/375°F for 40 minutes
Take the chicken out and let it rest for 10 minutes. Cut and serve.
Oven bake:
Roast it in air fryer with 220°C/425°F for 50 minutes
